Santa Returns

For the third year in a row, Bouygues Telecom teamed up with Santa Claus to surprise families with personalized video messages straight from his home in Lapland. After the huge success of the 2020 edition, which generated over 3 million videos, the campaign came back even stronger.

AI : Santa’s Digital Elf

Through WhatsApp or a dedicated link, users can request a free, personalized video of Santa speaking directly to their loved ones from different rooms of his house – from his office to the mailroom where children’s letters arrive, and even by his sleigh before the big departure. Developed with BETC Fullsix’s Digital Studio, the campaign gradually unveiled new parts of Santa’s home week by week, powered by AI to create a magical, 100% free service accessible to everyone.

Extending the magic

The launch was supported by social media activations and a branded content campaign capturing children’s authentic reactions to receiving Santa’s video. The experience was extended with a six-episode podcast for families, telling the adventures of Valentin the elf. It culminated in a special Twitter takeover on December 23rd, when Santa himself took control of Bouygues Telecom’s account.
